out and about

We've just spent the weekend camping in my favourite place Wye River. It was lots of fun, but dont be fooled by these beautiful sunny photos, I freezed my nuts off!! It was so so cold overnight, I needed 2 layers of clothes, a sleeping bag, doona, hat, scarf and and when all that wasnt enough, I had to put Luca in my sleeping bag too!!
I took the first photo yesterday morning on my walk with Luca in the pram (Yep I pushed him all the way up that hill - with a coffee in my hand as well). How amazing is that view.

more cuteness

I just can't get enough of Pia's little drawings and paintings at the moment. This one was waiting for me when I arrived home from work today. And now the dishes are done, the kids are in bed (and asleep) and I have the theage melbourne magazine to read. yay for me.

cuteness

Here are just some random cute photos from our weekend. Pia has decided that she wants to be an artist when she's older. She has moved on from wanting to work in a fish and chip shop!

And now it's monday morning, raining outside and I have an energetic 20 month old to entertain. It's off to the pool I think.

hey!

Yep its been a while! This mini blogging break all started when my computer crashed and took 2 weeks to be fixed. The first week was really hard, but by the second week I was actually enjoying not having a computer and liked doing other stuff. Dont get me wrong I LOVE reading your blogs, and I will never give up my bloglines.

So what have I been up to hmmm, well Pia started school and is loving it. Luca started creche one day a week after a ridiculously long orientation period. I started to feel like a child care worker, but his in now and happy.

Ed and I had a childfree weekend in Sydney which was sooooo good. We ate ate Tetsuyas and had a fun night out at Bodega and Longrain. We shopped in Surry Hills, and bought some gorgeous fabric and Cloth.
Easter was great, we went to a tiny little country town called Euroa and slept in a tent by the river. This was surprisingly easy and so much fun.

small town pics:

I thought I'd throw in a photo of my gorgeous friend Shell who is due with her second baby today:

But I have to say, I am enjoying this little blogging break and I'm going to be gone for a little while longer.
