brush! brush! comb! comb!

Am I a mean parent for not getting the kids a pet? Pia asks me for one all the time. Cats are out of the question as are birds, fish and guinea pigs. I would really love to get a little dog for them but I'm a bit turned off the idea by a friend who tries to offer me her dog whenever I visit her. You know who you are!! What to do?

Pia has chosen her perfect pet and has requested one for Christmas: (i don't know if pets wonderland have any of these?)

So we went hunting in the backyard to see what 'pets' are out there already. I was thinking I'd find a snail, but look who we found:
