Pia has chosen her perfect pet and has requested one for Christmas: (i don't know if pets wonderland have any of these?)
So we went hunting in the backyard to see what 'pets' are out there already. I was thinking I'd find a snail, but look who we found:

And while I have a Dr Seuss book with me, I have to show you my favourite page. I don't know why I love this but I just do.

We got Ryder some fish & he hasn't even noticed that half of them have died!
Too much work I say... maybe I am a meanie, but I deal with enough poo in my current job!
just don't do the pet thing - the poo,smells etc there just feral -from the happy two dog family. just do the occasional visit to those skanky animal farms that every fete has!
oh we just had my sisters dog over and I adored her but hubby said no...maybe one day! they are a lot of work though I will admit!

My daughter would jump through SO many hoops for a puppy, but we have no room and I was a kid once, I KNOW I'll end up looking after it!
